We Are Family Day

WAFF declared that March 11th is the annual We Are Family Day -- a global day for everyone -- on 3/11/2009. The purpose of We Are Family Day is to celebrate our common humanity and provide an opportunity for teachers, parents and educators of all kinds to teach our youth about different cultures, religions and the importance of respecting our fellow human beings. It is imperative that the citizens of the world learn about those who are different from them and create a global outreach for the greater good. Now, WAFF is petitioning the U.S. Congress and the United Nations to mark March 11, 2010 as the first official We Are Family Day.
