Jeralyn Gerba is the editorial director of Fathom, a travel website that reflects the way wired, globally minded folks research, plan for, and experience traveling the world. Before that, she spent six years as an editor at DailyCandy, a daily e-mail newsletter covering cultural trends emerging in NYC and beyond. She reports on food, fashion, and travel for print, radio, and television. Her love affair with the Big Apple stems from film noir, her days at New York University, and late night dancing in Brooklyn (sometimes to remixes of "We Are Family").
