Sooze Plunkett-Green hopped the pond from Bath University with nerves of steel and a love of music (in lieu of any actual musical talent, her supposed birthright hailing from a family full of classically-trained musicians, opera singers and conductors).
Sooze’s extensive music industry background began as Professional Manager to legendary Belwin Mills Publishers/Columbia Pictures Music Group. Sooze joined the Duke Ellington Project Partnership on Sophisticated Ladies; teamed Antonio D'Almeda's Thematic Offenbach catalogue for Oxford University press; Patrick Stewart’s Grammy winning "Peter & The Wolf “ album; helmed Music Publishing for Hush Productions/Electra Records and Sony Classics.
Co-owner of Giant Recording Studios, NYC, Sooze founded British Intelligence – a high profile Music Management/PR Company, clients included BBC Americas (“Absolutely Fabulous”), The Whitney Museum (developed the Keith Haring music installation). British Intelligence joined forces with Jane Brinton’s This Beats Workin'. Projects included Madonna’s Erotica and Immaculate Collection albums and countless #1 remix singles and productions. British Intelligence managed and developed several celebrated DJ's, record producers, and artists, including Shep Pettibone and Junior Vasquez, promoted dance, rock, classical and alternative music, and garnered Multi-Platinum Awards for the major labels, resulting in increased revenues of over $20m.
Sooze joined (actually pleaded and wormed her way in) Nile Rodgers Productions in 1998 and is now CEB to Nile Rodgers – Chief Executive Brit!
