“A Bit Tuary” represents a multimedia poetry series derived from interviews with Southeast Asian residents of NYC, exploring their experiences with grief, both present and anticipated. Amidst factors like gentrification, colonialism, state violence, migration and socioeconomic disparities, long-term residents affected by NYC's disregard often rely on grief to preserve historical narratives. “A Bit Tuary” highlights the role of grief and fear of loss as a vehicle for gathering, passing down ancestral knowledge, organizing and more.
