Mariem is a co-founder and CEO of ValueCoMetrics, a fintech company aligning values with valuations by capturing investor sentiment on ESG performance. ValueCo unlocks the power of data to quantify the market value of sustainability for businesses, providing data-driven insights and analysis to help companies strengthen their ESG strategies, manage reputational risks, and mitigate greenwashing concerns. ValueCo empowers asset managers, listed companies, and institutional investors to understand how investors perceive sustainability performance and its impact on financing conditions. As CEO, Mariem leads a passionate team of experts in transforming sustainability data into actionable insights that drive financial value.
Previously, Mariem spent over 13 years in financial markets, holding roles at Société Générale, ING, and Degroof Petercam, before launching ESG-focused ventures. An engineer by training (École des Mines), Mariem also studied at INSEAD and MIT (Blockchain). She’s a certified Barrett Values practitioner, entrepreneur, and thought leader in sustainable finance and technology.
