Sandeep Shrestha
Sandeep is an ESG and Corporate Sustainability professional, educator and the founder of Sustainability Solutions – a boutique ESG advisory and capacity-building firm with a strong focus on enabling businesses to transform towards sustainability. With 15+ years of experience in business sustainability, ESG investing, and impact reporting, he brings ESG expertise in private equity, banks, renewable energy, agriculture, technology, and manufacturing in countries across South Asia and South-East Asia.
Sandeep is also an interim E&S Manager at Berkeley Energy, a Social Sustainability Consultant at the World Bank, and a UNDP Business and Human Rights Expert. Previously, he held roles including Head of ESG and Compliance at Dolma Impact Fund, Program Director at Dolma Foundation, and Director at Fair Trade Group Nepal.
As an adjunct professor at Ace International Business School, he teaches Managing Sustainable Business Excellence and CSR for Sustainable Development at graduate and undergraduate level. Sandeep has previously taught at Kathmandu University, Kathmandu College of Management, and Kings College in Nepal. He is currently pursuing his MPhil in Development Studies at Kathmandu University and has an MBA (hons) from Saint Cloud State University.
