As Director of Operations at OneUpAction, Brian helps run an intersectional organization that accelerates youth-led climate solutions in 35+ countries. OneUpAction has mobilized 100,000+ marginalized young people to develop local climate solutions, lead grassroots ecosystem restoration, and work directly with local governments on climate policy. Its fellowships and initiatives are built on a premise Brian returns to often: young people are co-creators of solutions alongside their communities and governments, not just advocates for them. He also serves as North America Regional Lead for the C40 Cities Youth Hub and is the youngest advisor to the World Economic Forum's Center for Nature and Climate. Drawing on his roots in rural America and his experience inside international climate institutions, Brian bridges local and global perspectives. He is now deepening collaboration between young climate leaders and city governments across North America, so youth help shape environmental decisions at every level.
