Khoa's late grandfather kept a medicinal garden, and that garden became the starting point for Đông Y Gia Truyền Hub. He founded it to preserve traditional Vietnamese medicinal knowledge as a route to better public health and more affordable healthcare in Vietnam. The Hub connects that knowledge to modern science and enterprise, protecting biodiversity while making evidence-based care more accessible. It equips communities with regenerative ethnobotany education, sustainable cultivation practices, and bio-trade pathways that link traditional healers to research institutions and healthcare partners. Khoa has taught 1,000+ people about traditional medicine, delivered medicinal packages to 850 rural households, and worked with leading research institutes to validate Indigenous remedies — strengthening the case for protecting biodiversity and advancing health equity at once. He is now extending the model to more ethnic minority communities across Vietnam.
