Hon. Catherine McKenna
Catherine is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Climate and Nature Solutions, and Canada's former Minister of Environment and Climate Change, as well as Minister of Infrastructure. She is also Chair of the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Expert Group on Net-Zero Commitments of Non-State Entities and the founder of Women Leading on Climate.
Catherine was named Chevalier (Knight) of the Légion d’Honneur by the French government in recognition of her contribution to the landmark Paris Agreement. She is also an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society for her public service and commitment to environmental conservation.
Catherine was a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Columbia Climate School, and awarded an honorary Doctor of Science degree from McMaster University. She is the author of Run Like a Girl, her memoir of ambition, resilience and fighting for change. Catherine has three children and loves open water swimming.
