Dr. Arthur Chin
As Executive Director of The Food Bank Singapore, Arthur leads their mission to achieve food security and reduce food waste through strategic partnerships with donors and beneficiary agencies, while championing corporate social responsibility that drives meaningful social impact. Arthur brings a wealth of experience, from international banking, to education, to sheep farming. In his most recent appointment as Deputy Chief Executive of a New Zealand government ministry, he promoted social cohesion and ensured ethnic communities insights shaped policy development.
The breadth and depth of his professional background is also underpinned by his deep commitment to social causes and a profound understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by our communities. Prior to the Food Bank Singapore, Arthur drove strategies and businesses of banks including Wespac and ANZ, the international expansion of New Zealand universities and government agencies, and even the growth and maintenance of a thriving sheep farm. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (Marketing, Strategy and Consumer Banking).
