Regenerative farming models rooted in ancestral wisdom. Oral histories reclaiming erased environmental justice narratives. Ethical fashion movements reshaping global supply chains. Youth-led organizing to stop pipelines and uplift Indigenous sovereignty. Creative media that trains a generation of Native youth to tell their own stories.
These are just a few of the ways “The Climate Cohort” Frontliners are transforming how we imagine climate justice, healing, community resilience, and the future of our planet. And we are committed to supporting them.
Representing 5 countries across Asia, North America, and the Pacific, We Are Family Foundation is honored to introduce you to “The Climate Cohort” 2025 Frontliners.
They are under-30 artivists, researchers, cultural storytellers, organizers, land stewards, fashion disruptors, and community educators who use creative methodologies to address the climate crisis at both local and global scales. In the process, they are:
Centering Indigenous, BIPOC, and frontline communities in climate impact
Restoring ecosystems, food systems, and cultural memory
Preserving oral histories and correcting historic erasure with art, education, and storytelling as tools for justice
Advancing environmental health, ancestral knowledge, and community sovereignty
